In 2015, PIC brought in a unique team of highly talented property experts to bid for the Admiralty Arch. PIC was selected as the preferred bidder. Upon lease extension from the UK Government from 125 to 250 years, PIC built two basement levels (adding 40,000 sq. ft.) and carried out the asset refurbishment, creating considerable value growth.
PIC led the funding and development of the Bvlgari Hotel and Residences, the first new-built hotel project to gain planning permission approval in prime London in 30 years. The residences were pre-sold to obtain funding for the project future phases and to maximise returns. The Residences achieved the highest price for a London residential sale at £7,000 per sq. ft.
PIC advised the Spanish Government in the sale of the Instituto Cervantes, a listed building located in the heart of Belgravia and among the most sought-after properties in London. PIC was instrumental in the execution of the bidding process, which was completed in January 2014.
